About
When the holy city of Elturel vanishes in a flash of blinding light, its people cry out for salvation. But no divine answer comes only the truth that the city has been dragged into the Nine Hells. Refugees flood into Baldur’s Gate, spreading fear and whispers of celestial betrayal. Amid the growing panic, the Flaming Fist tightens its grip, and the streets become a crucible of greed, desperation, and blood.
The adventurers are thrust into this chaos, drawn into a conspiracy that spans from the mortal world to the infernal planes. To save Elturel and perhaps their own souls they must descend into Avernus itself, the scorched wasteland where archdevil Zariel wages her eternal war.
There, they will pilot infernal war machines, strike bargains with devils, and confront the burning truth behind Zariel’s fall. Every choice will shape not only their fate but the fate of countless souls chained to the infernal war.
This campaign begins at level 1, where even the smallest spark of courage may ignite the hope to redeem the damned.

In the choking smoke and blood-soaked streets of Baldur’s Gate, where devils whisper in the ears of desperate mortals, fate has chosen its champions — not saints, not saviors, but survivors.
When Elturel fell from the heavens, bound in chains and dragged into the Nine Hells, hope seemed lost. Yet from the chaos of a city on the brink, these unlikely souls emerged: mercenaries, exiles, zealots, and wanderers bound by chance and conviction alike. Each bears scars of a world that has already burned them, yet still they march toward the inferno.
They were not chosen by gods or summoned by prophecy. Theirs is a calling forged in defiance, to walk willingly into Hell itself and face the archdevil Zariel, the fallen angel whose crusade has damned thousands.
They are not the heroes Baldur’s Gate prayed for, but as the city teeters on the edge of damnation, it may find that these are the only ones who can save it.
