The Full Story
About
Turn of Fortune’s Wheel is a surreal, plane-hopping campaign set in the chaotic heart of the multiverse. The story centers on a group of characters suffering from a reality-shattering glitch—fractured souls who awaken in the City of Sigil with no memory of who they are or how they got there.
As they explore Sigil and the Outlands, they strike a deal with the cunning arcanaloth Shemeshka the Marauder to recover their lost identities. In exchange, they must chase down a rogue modron.
Along the way, they uncover the truth of their own existence, confront the forces threatening to unravel the planes, and ultimately have a chance to repair the very fabric of reality.
Meet the heroes

Rogue — Soulknife
Briar [snitch]
Known only as “Snitch,” this elusive wood elf rogue is a master soulknife and an expert in both skill and obscure trivia. Incredibly hard to spot, Snitch moves through the world almost unseen—sharp-eyed, ever-watchful, and always listening. They make a living selling information, trading secrets like currency, and their androgynous appearance only adds to their mystique. Whether lurking in the shadows or slipping through a crowd, Snitch remains a ghost to most and a valuable contact to a few.

Bard — College of Creation
Camille Chi
Camille Chi is a high elf bard from the College of Creation, known for her mesmerizing performances and chaotic neutral flair. Draped in flowy fabrics that swirl like starlight, she dances with an elegance that captivates all who watch—an entertainer who truly lives for the stage. Camille always wears her signature dancing attire and carries herself with unshakable confidence, believing she is a star destined for greatness. Dazzling and dramatic, she thinks incredibly highly of herself, embodying the role of a performer who refuses to be anything less than unforgettable.

Paladin | Wizard — Multiclass
Dandii
Dandiirel Istyar—better known as Dandii or simply “Dandy”—is an air genasi Bladesinging wizard and Paladin in service to Llira, goddess of Joy and Freedom. Though he wears the title of wizard, his arcane prowess comes less from study and more from sheer luck, having stumbled upon a headband of intellect that does most of the heavy lifting. Ever cheerful and full of boundless enthusiasm, Dandy lives with a Robin Hood flair—always ready to lift spirits, join a celebration, or accept a free drink (most of his Lay on Hands likely goes toward curing poison from said drinks). While his joy is genuine, his sense of justice runs deep; he will not hesitate to strike down slavers wherever he finds them. That said, thanks to his magically boosted intellect, he understands that timing is everything.

Cleric — Trickery Domain
jonathan
Jonathan is a pallid elf cleric of the Trickery domain, often called Luck’s Own Trickster for good reason. Restless by nature, he’s always fidgeting with a coin between his fingers—a quiet reminder that he puts his faith in chance and cunning more than divine intervention. Jonathan favors clever cons over open combat, though he’s not above using a well-placed dagger when the moment calls for it. Witty, resourceful, and a little aloof, he’s slow to trust but always strives to be fair, walking the fine line between mischief and morality.
